from the press release, it appears to contain:

keyChat: an open instant messaging (im) client allowing you to use services like msn, aim etc

audible: support for audible books

nimas: support for nimas books

HP printers: more HP printers are supported

speech on pk: the pk will support both keyNote gold and eloquence speech

that's all i can think of at the moment. check out the press release on the humanware site for more info!

Unless you are interested in trying out the sendero gps 90 day free trial or you wish to talk to people who use google talk or another XMPP based IM service, i'd stick with 7.5 unless of course you've already paid for it in which case i'd just upgrade anyway. Besides, I believe it is possible to downgrade to 7.5 again if you have problems.

Looking back on post 3, there are a couple of corrections I need to point out:

1. Sorry, but the instant messaging client does not support MSN, AIM, Yahoo etc. It only supports XMPP based services such as Google Talk or IChat which not many people use.

2. As I mentioned in post 5, there is also a 90-day free trial of the braillenote sendero gps v6.0 included. Note that for real time navigation, you will need a gps receiver.

IMPORTANT: Do Not upgrade the gps software to v6.1 if you are using the 90-day free trial. Doing so will cause you to lose the 90-day trial and receive only a 15-day trial.

Not much additions. I think the voices for the 7.5 was pretty cool. I hate Keynote Gold's voice. I was almost squealing when I heard the new voices. *sigh* it's still annoying, though, but much much better. I think I met one of the guys that recommended a change for voices.
